Are the apartments serviced daily ?

The apartments are self contained apartments and are NOT serviced daily. If guests are staying 8 nights or more a mid stay clean will occur during your stay. Daily servicing can be requested at an extra cost.

Do you provide beach towels ?

Beach towels can be hired from Reception for the duration of your stay - $3.00 per towel.

Is there a guest laundry ?

Yes, a coin operated guest laundry is on site – washing machine and dryer – with clothes airers provided in apartments.

Do you have FREE WIFI ?

Yes, the free WIFI code will be given on check in.

Can you provide airport transfers ?

Yes, transfers can be arranged from $44 per person each way from Cairns Airport to The Pavilions (approx 1 hour’s drive.)

Is there parking available ?

Yes, undercover parking is available FREE – limited spaces suitable for small cars – car parks cannot be pre-booked.

Does every apartment have a balcony and if so what are the views ?

Yes, every apartment has a balcony – as we are located in the centre of Macrossan Street (the main Street of Port Douglas) there are no views as such – balconies are private some over the pool (studio apartments) others looking into tropical trees.

Can day tours be booked through Reception ?

Yes, very happy to book any tours for guests – we have a full range of brochures for all tours in and around Port Douglas.

What shops/restaurants are nearby ?

The Pavilions is located in the Main Street of Port Douglas you are in walking distance to all restaurants, cafes, shops, bars and pubs – Dave’s Takeaway is also part of the building great fish and chips, burgers, sandwiches, salads and will deliver to apartments on request or around our pool.

How far away is public transport ?

The local bus leaves every half hour across the Street in front of Rattle N Hum Pub – local shuttle can also be booked $3.00 per person to anywhere within Port Douglas.

What are the office hours ?

Monday to Friday 9am to 12noon then 1.30pm to 5.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am to 12noon – Public Holidays 9.30am to 10.30am (always contactable via onsite phone for guests).

Do you have after hours check in procedures ?

Yes, we have a safe located at the entrance to the Reception area – if guests advise they will be arriving outside of office hours the code will be given to the safe – welcome letter, direction to your apartment and keys will be inside – guests to “check in” the next morning.

Do you have early departure procedures ?

Yes, we have a key drop box located near the safe at Reception.
